Zachary Bohnenkamp:
Zach
is a primarily a printmaker and muralist, but also enjoys
painting on canvas and illustration. His print work consists
mainly of woodblock prints in a neo-Japanese/graffiti style.
As a
muralist, Zach strives to bring art out of the gallery and into
the streets and to share its beauty with all the people of the
communities where his pieces stand. He has painted dozens of
murals since his first in 1999, the majority of which were
created in Seattle as part of the
Matamuros, a collective of
muralists that he has helped to build since 2006.
Zach brings a
passion and a pursuit of perfection to every project he’s
involved in. When asked what he likes best about making murals
he responded: “My favorite thing is to meet the people in the
neighborhood while I work and to see the joy that art brings to
their lives.”
John Osgood:

Greenwood neighborhood where he curates shows monthly for other
up and coming PNW contemporary artists.
Sensei23:

Kevin “Sensei23” Sullivan was born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts
during the year of the Ram, 1979. He fell in love at the age of
5 with art; drawing everything on anything, with inspirations
from comics, cartoons and sports. Thus began his pursue of the
arts all thru K – 12 and continuing into College at the School
of The Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
Sensei23
moved from the East to the West in 2001. He started out fresh
and worked his way into the Seattle scene one project a time.
The Elysian Brewing Company started it off by commissioning him
to do a series of their beer labels, in which he portrayed the
images of Greek Gods and Goddesses. He would go onto designing
other local beer labels, flyers, T-shirts and winning a T-Shirt
contest for Del the Funky Homosapien.
Sensei23 is
always pursuing his love for art and is currently focusing on
paintings on canvas and creating murals around Seattle with
Matamuros. Stay tuned for more designs and creations in your neck of the woods.
